Julie is also doing some fundraising to allow young people to travel free and experience a visit to Walsingham. She writes: "I am asking for your support to help raise the funds to cover the cost of taking between 10 and 12 children on the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Our Lady’s Shrine in Walsingham. My name is Julie Hibbs and 4 years ago I was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease, I also underwent surgery for a total knee replacement 5 months ago. To raise the £300 necessary I am proposing to walk the Holy Mile from the Slipper Chapel to the Abbey Grounds in the village of Walsingham. This will be a challenge for me but one that I’m willing to undertake with your support and prayers."
