Please ask one of the steward at Mass or go to the Sacristy to request a Baptism form. The form is to be returned to the Parish Office and Barbara, the Parish Catechist, will be in touch with you.
For the Sacrament of the Sick
if you would like a priest to visit you or a sick family member or friend at home, please ring the presbytery (01782 616483) to arrange.
if you would like a loved one to be visited in hospital, then please ring the presbytery (01782 616483) or the chaplaincy service at the Royal Stoke hospital (UHNM) at 01782 676400. If one of the priests is not already on-call at the hospital, then he needs permission from the sick person or a friend / family member to be able to enter the hospital and visit. Many thanks!

INSTRUCTION IN THE CATHOLIC FAITH (RCIA)RCIA (Adult Instruction) session will begin on Weds October 2nd 7.30 – 9.00 pm at Coolock (Part of Convent of Mercy) Stubbs Gate, Newcastle. Suitable for you if you are considering joining the Catholic Church, just want to know more or if you’re a Catholic but would like to come along to support others. Enjoyable and relaxed sessions, with refreshments provided. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION & CONFIRMATION FOR CHILDREN NOT IN CATHOLIC SCHOOLS The Parish Confirmation will be in February (date to be finalised) and First Holy Communion on Saturday 21st June 2025 at 2.00 pm. (Sacrament of Reconciliation will take place in March) If your child is not in a local Catholic school, and you would like them to be prepared for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion (children in Year 3 or older) or Confirmation (children in Year 6 or older), please collect an application from the Sacristy when you come to Mass.
Preparation will consist of Saturday classes and weekly attendance at Holy Mass - as well as some work to take home each week. Please consider carefully whether you are able to support your child in this way at this time. It is always possible to wait for another year or so if necessary. Classes will take place at Coolock (part of Convent of Mercy on Stubbs Gate Newcastle) on Saturday mornings in term time, beginning Saturday 28th September. (9.30 First Holy Communion, 11.30 Confirmation). .. We would expect that children attend each week unless there is a good reason
